Dear People,

Prior to our revival I thought it would be good to look at this “Revival Preparation Evaluation”. Again, I want you to know we are praying and looking forward to being with you in our revival. Together, we’ll have a great revival.

1. Confessing need. Our church has really confessed its need for revival...we’re not too proud and satisfied with the way things are – we're hungry for a moving of God.

2. Revival praying. We have at least one small group in our church that meets regularly for serious revival praying for their own lives and for revival in this church.

3. Convictional Bible teaching and preaching. The teaching

and preaching in our church is the kind which results in spiritual conviction in our hearts – people are often “moved” or touched by the class or  sermon…there are even tears as a result of teaching and preaching.

4. Atmosphere of conviction. There is an atmosphere of the Spirit’s moving and conviction throughout our church… people come expecting to hear the Holy Spirit talk about something they need to change in their life. 

5. Repentance. We regularly see people respond to God’s conviction by deciding to stop doing something or start doing something the Holy Spirit has prompted them about.

6. Changed lives. Because of the frequent conviction & repentance among our people, God is changing lives here at this church – habits, actions, attitudes, behaviors, and thoughts.

7. Revival Testimonies. We often hear testimonies from other Christians about how God has convicted them & changed their lives in some way or another – this gives God great glory.

8. “Presence” atmosphere. Almost every time our church gathers there is a definite sense of God’s “presence” – we can often feel it as soon as we come together.

9. Praise and worship. Our gatherings are characterized by a God-oriented worship and praise atmosphere – our church is really into worshipping God.

10. Sinners saved. At our church people are regularly getting saved as well as consecrating their life for God’s sanctifying fullness.
