We enjoyed
having Duane and Ruth with us. The revival meeting was good
for our church. We appreciated the preaching and singing and
the good spirit in the services. Following the revival there
was a good crowd in prayer meeting and a lady testified that
she and her husband were glad they attended the revival and it
did them a lot of good. They are new to our church and they
told me as they left that they were getting something at our
church that they were not getting before. May the Lord
continue to use the Smith’s in evangelism for Him.

January 6 – 9,
2008 Evangelist Duane Smith conducted revivals at the Live
Oak, FL First Church of the Nazarene in the evenings and in
the afternoons at the Mayo Correctional Institution. This
prison houses over 1,700 men and is a maximum security
facility. Both revivals experienced the Powerful Presence of
God and many found spiritual victory and help at the altars.
Praise God for the outcome and effectiveness of these two
revivals.

We have had the
Duane and Ruth Smith twice for revival meetings, and we will
definitely call them again. I am pleased to recommend Rev.
Duane Smith as a full-time tenured evangelist in the Church of
the Nazarene. Duane comes to you with an abundance of
experience and gifting. Revival services were both blessed and
anointed by God. Our people responded in an attitude of
searching after God.
Duane ministers
through a beautiful singing voice and anointed biblical
preaching. His emphasis is clearly the holiness message.
Moreover, he is an effective communicator who connects with
young and old alike. Ruth is a vital part of this God-called
ministry.
I personally appreciate Duane and Ruth’s spirit. They both
will work extremely well with your workers, your staff and
your church leaders. Pastor, they will not hurt you or your
ministry in any way! Duane Smith has the experience to handle
any situation.

We praise the Lord for the
presence of the Holy Spirit as He ministered to us and met our
spiritual needs through the dynamic and soul searching
messages brought by evangelist, Rev. Duane Smith.
After one of the services a lady who had been to the altar
said, “We are having revival! I’ve been renewed! Praise the
Lord!”
People moved forward so readily and easily at the close of
each service desiring more of Jesus in their lives. We were
all blessed with the choice of songs and the way the
invitations were uniquely given. The songs and sermons will
continue to be in our hearts. To God be the Glory!

Duane Smith has
a unique gift of presenting Biblical truths in simplistic
ways. We had a good revival in November of 2007 with the
Smith’s and we believe God is using them to help the Church.

Rev. Smith's
ministry was exactly what our Church needed. The messages and
songs were inspired and used to draw us into the presence God.
Both, Rev. Smith and Ruth allowed God's presence to flow
through them as they interacted with our people. I highly
recommend Rev. Duane Smith to any church.

This is that!!!!
…which was spoken by the prophet Joel. And it shall come to
pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my
Spirit….
The days of revival are not past. The formula is still the
same…if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble
themselves, and pray….! The people of Trinity United Brethren
in Christ prepared themselves for revival according to God’s
plan – and then God sent us – Rev. Duane and Ruth Smith.
The services were marked with the wonderful Presence of the
Holy Spirit. The music and the message were anointed with the
power and authority of His approval! Several real conversions
took place and the altars were lined with God’s people seeking
…seeking …seeking! A young couple came seeking the sanctifying
grace of God for their lives. Revival and renewal is alive and
well!! Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

It was a joy and
privilege to have Evangelist Duane and Ruth Smith as special
workers in our scheduled revival services recently. Rev. Smith
preaches with power and inspiration. His music style is well
received and enjoyed by all ages. And, Ruth often prays with
seekers at the altar which enhances their ministry. They
interact well with the people and are easy to work with. God
has truly blessed this couple with an evangelist heart. I
highly recommend Evangelist Duane and Ruth Smith to you.

Oct. 3 – 7, 2007
we had the privilege of having Duane and Ruth Smith conduct
our Fall revival. Each night Duane shared with us the Lord’s
message in word and song. His Bible teaching stressed the need
for believer’s to come to the full surrender of their heart to
God. Both Duane and Ruth are very concerned and proactive in
helping others with their needs. I am claiming victories won
around the altars each night of this week. I pray the Lord
will continue to bless Duane and Ruth as they share the Good
News through revivals.

It was our privilege to have Duane and
Ruth in revival. We enjoyed their Great Spirit and fellowship.
Our people are most anxious to have them back. I heard many
positives responses to Duane’s preaching on total consecration
and his variety of music.
